We are excited to offer our Kids Holiday Workshops for children aged 10 – 14 years old at our workshop in Mid Sussex. This course is hands-on, educational and fun. It’s designed to teach children valuable practical skills (such as how to use a power drill) whilst having lots of fun and making something useful and sustainable to take home with them.
It’ll start with how to safely disassemble a pallet then sand, measure, saw and prepare the timber and proper use of a power drill. This will culminate in the creation of a unique, handmade keepsake (such as a birdbox, planter, bug hotel, trug or festive item), crafted from pallet timber, to take home with them. Our goal is to empower the next generation with hands-on knowledge and experience that they can apply to various areas of their lives whilst enjoying themselves.
