We run a range of holiday workshops throughout the year for children aged 10 – 14 years old. These generally involve breaking up pallets and then teaching the children how to prepare, treat and measure the timber to make a unique, handmade keepsake made from sustainable timber to take home.
Previous workshops have included making planters which were planted up with Spring bulbs; Christmas trees & decorations; bird boxes and keepsake boxes.
These are fun, practical and educational courses which not only teach the children how to make something from pallet wood, but also instil a “can do” attitude when it comes to fixing and making things and also teaches basic skills in using tools such as power drill and saws.
“Our son has had an absolute blast and is beyond proud of his creations. He’s completely buzzing from the skills he’s learnt.”
