Learning to use a power drill will be a huge step in living more independently & sustainably. From putting up a shelf and hanging a picture to fixing a wonky door or curtain rail, working a power drill properly and safely has a wide range of uses and benefits around the home.
In this course you will learn proper techniques for safely operating a standard power drill. You will learn about the most common surfaces to drill in (wood, masonry, plaster board) and what drill and screw bits to use on all of them. You will learn which rawl plugs and fixings are most appropriate for each job. We will get you putting up a shelf and testing out your new skills on multiple surfaces at the workshop to ensure you are fully confident before putting your skills to the test at home!
