Course Curriculum

All day courses are 9:30am – 4:30pm with a 30min lunch break and 2 x 15 min breaks either side. People need to bring their own lunch.

We are excited to offer First Aid courses at our workshop in Mid Sussex. These are suitable for adults only and which will equip you to deal with a host of medical emergencies such as CPR (resuscitation) and the use of a defibrillator.

The course is run by Dave, who is a retired London Paramedic and is a fully qualified first aid instructor and assessor.  Upon completion of this course,  each pupil will receive a nationally recognised FAA certificate regulated by Ofqual.

Emergency First Aid at Work is a level 3 course and lasts for 1 day. Its both practical and theory training covering: responsibilities; assessment of the situation; first aid hygiene; resuscitation; anatomy; choking; bleeding; shock; epilepsy; minor injuries and dealing with an unresponsive casualty.

Minimum age is 14 years old.

* Included in each course is a certificate, booklet and basic first aid kit.
