Join us for DIY in a Day at the How To Basically workshop in beautiful Mid Sussex Contact us and gain the confidence to tackle everyday household jobs yourself. This practical, hands-on course is designed for beginners who want to learn essential DIY skills in a friendly and supportive environment.
During the day you’ll learn how to safely and confidently use a power drill around the house, including drilling and fixing into different surfaces such as wood, plasterboard, brick and tile. We’ll practise common jobs like hanging pictures and putting up shelves so you leave knowing exactly how to get it right first time.
You’ll also cover basic plumbing skills, including what to do if you discover a leak, how to fix dripping or wobbly taps and simple techniques for unblocking drains.
In addition, our instructors will share decorating tips and techniques to help you achieve a professional-looking finish, including how to deal with common issues such as stains, damp patches and preparation problems.
The course runs 10am–4pm at our Mid Sussex workshop and is limited to just 6 places with two experienced instructors to ensure plenty of individual support and hands-on practice.
