About the course
Booking info: 3 hours £95pp up to 4 per course
Plumbing can seem incredibly daunting and overwhelming; and water can cause significant damage to your home – be it a slow leak or a sudden flood and we often don’t know where to start to prevent the water damage from spreading.
There are many simple, practical steps you can take at home to prevent plumbing emergencies from happening and fixing small problems when they do occur.
From stopcocks and mains isolator valves to cisterns and compression joints, we’ll teach you everything you need to know to carry out basic plumbing maintenance around the house. You’ll learn how to fix loose/ dripping taps, change taps, fit and replace compression joints, unblock u-bends and much more.
You’ll leave armed with all the confidence you need to put your new skills into action, reducing your reliance on expensive call outs and empowering you to fix things yourself, or at the very least put measures in place to limit the damage whilst you wait for a professional to arrive.
